One thing is certain: coating and paint processes are only as perfect and economical as the subsequent drying process. Wenker is known for developing and producing high-quality ovens, oven assembly units and modules. Implementing cutting-edge drying processes with new oven control systems and innovative developments in process and control technology are just as much a part of what we do as heating equipment, exhaust air purification systems and the necessary accessories. Our ovens are among the most energy efficient in the world. We use a recirculated air system producing as little exhaust air as possible, setting standards in the automotive and automotive supply sector with oven temperatures up to 220°C (e-coat oven). Our own installation specialists also optimize the on-site equipment setup and make sure the oven is airtight (welded version).
Wenker’s DRY.Efficient oven has set new standards in energy efficiency. Due to its special design without a thermal bridge, the DRY.EFFICIENT oven emits 70% less transmission heat to the outside than conventional automotive ovens.
The oven is based on an overall modular design, allowing us to offer systems that are both standard and client-specific.
The use of modules means the system can be quickly installed and prepared for operation before production begins.
It enables us to guarantee our clients compliance with the highest environmental standards and minimal energy consumption.
Thermodynamic control (TDC) of our thermal incinerators allows us to adjust the performance of variable volume flows in our oven systems.
To cover the entire range of performance requirements, we have increased the control range between the minimum and maximum air volumes.
As a result, thermodynamic control makes the process of drying car bodies more cost-efficient.
“Demand air volume control” means the ovens can be adjusted to match the current production load.
Here’s how it works.
If the oven load is low, due either to smaller car bodies or to lower production quantities, the volume of exhaust air is adjusted automatically.
The goal of demand air volume control is to automatically bring the air volume in the oven to equilibrium by varying the amount of exhaust air and feeding the appropriate amount of fresh air into the system.
Our new demand air volume control system can achieve energy savings of up to a maximum of 45% under partial load conditions.
Average energy savings are 25% when operating loads fluctuate.
